Steel City Pops

The Steel City Pops project was a demo and interior build of a 3,340 SF space located in historic downtown Decatur, GA. Awarded with the City of Decatur 2018 Historic Preservation Award, the project consisted of an open kitchen, corporate office, dining room, and retail area. Architectural and construction features include the use of putty glazed steel windows, reclaimed wood veneers, barrel vaulted ceilings, concrete countertops, sealed concrete floors, and subway tile to achieve a midcentury industrial feel. Great care was given to accentuate and stay true to the architectural features of the existing building, all the while constructing the necessary components for a modern-day production facility. The space serves as a dining, retail, and production facility and is the hub for all of Steel City Pops’ Atlanta operations.
